Pickleball

The Corner Brook Tennis Club has 4 outdoor pickleball courts which are available for play by both Members and Non-Members. 

Members can play pickleball by booking a court on-line at the available times as listed on the Pickleball Court Schedule page. For membership rates, visit the Membership Registration page. 

Non-Members can also book courts on-line at the available times as listed. Court bookings for Non-Members must be completed in advance and payment must be completed by e-transfer to cornerbrooktennis@gmail.com prior to the scheduled play time. This will confirm your payment should you be approached by a court monitor. It should be noted that Non-Members are required to pay their portion of the court fee even when they are playing with Members who have booked the court. As an example, if two members are playing with two Non-Members, the two Non-Members must pay half of the $10 per hour court fee which is $5 ($2.50 each).

The portable pickleball nets are kept in a storage container adjacent to the clubhouse building. Players are responsible for assembling the nets and returning them to the storage unit when play is finished unless they are required for the next booking. The last players to leave the courts must ensure that the gates are locked and secured.

Drop-in Play

Each Monday and Thursday from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. there is an adult drop-in play time for Members and Non-Members interested in playing Pickleball. Players will mix and play utilizing the paddle rotation rack. Each court will be limited to one game to 11 points. All players will exit the court following the game and the next up players in the paddle rack will rotate in. Non-members can play by paying the $5 drop-in fee in advance by e-transfer to cornerbrooktennis@gmail.com. Members can play for free.

Court Times

*Please note that pickleball court bookings will not be available from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in July and August due to adult tennis programming. Court bookings will also be blocked from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays due to adult pickleball drop-in play. Other booking periods may be pre-empted for special events/tournaments.
